Mario Ángel Pérez is a Minnesota-born tenor with degrees in vocal performance from the University of Minnesota. He has performed with regional opera companies and festivals, including roles in Carmen, Die Zauberflöte, and La belle Hélène. He brings professional vocal expertise and a passion for performance to his teaching.
Maya Hilten – Voice Teacher
Maya Hilten is a passionate vocalist and voice student at Normandale Community College. With a background in opera, classical singing, and piano, she’s a graduate of the Performing Arts Institute of Minnesota High School and a Project Opera alum. Maya brings creativity and joy to every musical experience.
Lily Alter – Voice & Piano Teacher
Lily is an award-winning vocalist, pianist, and educator with degrees in Jazz Studies and Music from Western Michigan University and the University of North Texas. She teaches voice, piano, and early childhood music, offering fun, personalized lessons rooted in jazz, pop, and musical theater.
Farida Saifullina – Voice & Piano Teacher
Farida is a vibrant voice and piano teacher with 13 years of experience and a passion for helping students of all ages shine. Trained in Russia, she blends classical and contemporary styles—plus a love for rock! Farida brings energy, care, and fun to every lesson.
Farida teaches in English & Russian.
