Ana Caridad Frómeta Borrayo – Violin

Ana Caridad Frómeta is a violinist with a strong academic background and experience in both performance and teaching. She graduated with a Gold Diploma from the Higher Institute of Art (ISA) in Cuba and has been a member of renowned ensembles such as the Havana Chamber Orchestra and the Liceo de La Habana Orchestra, performing in numerous concerts under the direction of distinguished conductors and receiving training from prestigious musicians and teachers.

As a founding member of the Havana Quartet, she has participated in international festivals and educational projects in the United States, including performances at Minnesota Orchestra Hall and the Harvard Music Festival. In addition to her career as a performer, Ana teaches violin and chamber music, focusing on the technical and expressive development of the students.

Ana is currently based in Minnesota, where she continues her artistic career with the Havana Quartet. She regularly performs in music venues across Minneapolis and Saint Paul, including Berlin, Crooners, and MetroNOME. In addition to concerts, she participates in educational exchanges and offers masterclasses in various schools. She is also a member of other musical projects such as Charanga Tropical and the MSC&O.
