Audrey Q. Snyder – Cello

Audrey Q. Snyder is a versatile cellist, songwriter, and arranger based in the Twin Cities. She has toured as the principal cellist for The Who, performing on their Moving On!tour in 2019, The Who Hits Back! tour in 2022-2023, and at the Teenage Cancer Trust shows at Royal Albert Hall.

In theater, Audrey has performed in productions of The Lion KingMary PoppinsThe Bridges of Madison CountyOklahoma!Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Oliver! She subbed regularly for Hamilton during its three-year run in Chicago and later toured with two other Hamilton companies from 2021 to 2023.

Audrey is an advocate for contemporary instrumental music. She regularly performs works by living composers, playing both solo and in various chamber ensembles. In 2019, she produced and coordinated New Music//New Film Collaborative, a project resulting in five new compositions paired with video art, which were released in 2020.

Audrey holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in music from the Eastman School of Music, where she studied with Alan Harris.
